Penumbral Lunar Eclipse is forming on May 5th, 2023. This is visible in some parts of Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, and Antarctica.
This Penumbral eclipse occurs in Tula Rasi, in Vishaka Nakshatram on Vaishaka Shukla Paksha Purnima day. The planets affected by this eclipse are Moon, Ketu in Tula Rasi, Jupiter, Sun, Rahu, retrograde Mercury in Mesha rasi and aspected by Saturn. Mars is moving to its neecha position on May 10th. All this will result in miscommunication, restlessness, sudden risky decisions, arguments, wrong financial decisions, insomnia, and heavy mood swings more so for those with depression and anxiety. These results can be attributed both at the personal and at the world level. War-like situations will further precipitate in the world.
Penumbral Eclipse:
During the Lunar eclipse, two shadows are cast by the Earth on the Moon. The first shadow is the Umbra, which means a completely dark shadow. And the other is known as Penumbra or partial outer shadow. The moon moves through both of these shadows in stages. Since the penumbral shadow is not prominent, the initial and last stage of an eclipse is not noticeable. Hence, the eclipse is noticed when an umbral shadow is cast on the Moon. The penumbral eclipse is not a very significant event as it is not visible to the eye and is not important for any religious activities.
