Total Solar Eclipse - December 14th, 2020

Solar Eclipse:

The phenomenon of solar eclipse happens when the moon in its movement in the orbital path, happens to come between Earth and the Sun, thereby casting a shadow on the Sun. 

The Solar eclipse on December 14th, 2020 is formed in the 4th pada of Jyestha Nakshatraat at 29 degrees Vrischika rasi.  This eclipse is forming in the gandanta which is a low and sensitive point. Solar eclipse is visible in much of Chile, Argentina, South America, and South in Africa, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, and Antarctica.

On 14th, the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Ketu are conjunct in Vrischika Rasi, eclipse forming in Jyeshta nakshatra ruled by Lord Indra, King of the Gods. All these indicate that people who are in power and authority will be challenged.  Sun is in the highest degree which further focuses on danger to the life of those in authority or power. All the planets in three houses forming Sula yoga further strengthen the above point. The countries or individuals with Jyeshta nakshatra and Vrischika Rasi may get affected more.

World:

This planetary conjunction may give severe unrest among mankind leading to social unrest, manmade calamities, people will seek illegal ways and means to fulfill their desires. The financial sector will take a hit for a couple of months.  Ill health, sudden enmity with neighboring countries, and scandals will cause severe impact. There may be concerns related to health care, business, educational institutions, media, and entertainment.  This is not a favorable period for President Donald Trump, as his Nakshatra is Jyestha.

  2. Recite Dakshinamurthy stotram or Vishnu sahasranama during the eclipse period.
